Our Mission
Here at Interbay Market, our goal is to serve families, and those who serve, in our community. Family-owned and operated since 1985, “the Green Store” (as the locals would call it) provides premium cuts of meat and a seemingly endless selection of great food to the people of South Tampa.
Our Story
The original Interbay Meat Market was a 2,000 sqft building, built in 1942. The owners, Hani and Maria Shoubaki, bought the establishment in 1985. In 1998, the old store was demolished and the current 10,000-square-foot building was built in its place. Maria, originally from Havana, Cuba, slowly curated the menu of traditional Cuban/American cuisine that you will find in the store today. With a seemingly endless variety of sandwich and hot food options, it is no wonder the store is a favorite among the South Tampa locals!
In addition to the deli, you will find an impressive meat selection; with steaks cut to perfection and a variety of sausages made in-house, Interbay Meat Market has you covered for your next cookout! Our produce is delivered fresh daily, and we maintain a clean, well-stocked grocery section. Avoid that dreaded trip to the grocery store, all your basic grocery necessities can be met here.
